Chris Stafford

Chris is a very experienced coach and facilitator, who has a background in team and individual coaching. He specialises in transformational coaching at all levels, with

particular expertise working with leaders. He has a proven record of supporting individuals and teams to achieve their goals and realise their potential.

He is at his best when working with clients in the arenas of wellbeing, career development and leadership. He has experience coaching across numerous fields including Sales, Technology, Retail and all levels of leadership, up to and including executive level. Former clients describe his coaching style as warm, empathetic, challenging, authentic and transformational.

His real strength is his ability to listen intently and challenge thinking, to ensure clients gain the maximum success from the coaching experience and help them to achieve the outcomes they are looking for.

He has a passion and knowledge for neuroscience, in particularly mind management models to support and enable confidence and resilience. He is based in North West England, but will consider travel and he is happy to support remotely.

Coaching Style and Expertise

Chris established his coaching and mentoring skills, alongside understanding team dynamics and business development, through 20 years of managing and leading teams in the financial, professional services, and retail industries. He was instrumental in influencing and shaping coaching culture process and practice across a 250 employee sales center.

He also led the internal coaching programme across The Co-op, overseeing and providing CPD and supervision for 70+ coaches across the organisation. In addition to creating a coaching culture and leading a coaching programme.

He has been an accredited and qualified coach since 2015 and a full-time coach in a challenging sales environment. This involved 1-1 coaching and team coaching across all levels from sales representative to Exec. Whilst with Co-op he coached and mentored pan Co-op, with colleagues and teams across multiple functions including HR, Retail, Funeral care, and Support Centre.

He receives regular coaching supervision and he is currently in the process of completing a EMCC certified Supervision programme.
