Clare Sheridan

Coach / Trainer

As a passionate believer in individual potential, much of my career has been shaped by the people-focused hospitality industry, where engagement and excellence go hand in hand.

Having worked in some of the most luxurious hotels in the UK and Europe, (after beginning my journey as a student and trainee in Singapore), I learned early that it is people who make the difference. This belief continues to guide my approach to learning and development, both in organisational roles and as a freelance consultant.

My work has included designing and delivering a wide range of learning interventions, shaping people-centred development strategies, with coaching being central to my work and a core element of the leadership and development programmes I have delivered for managers and senior leaders.

Coaching Style and Expertise

Whilst working in various Learning & Development and HR roles within hotels it became clear that leadership and performance coaching was my strength and continuing professional development programmes in the organisations with whom I have had the fortune to work has supported me in this direction.

My work, both being employed within in a company environment and as a freelance consultant, has allowed me to design, deliver and evaluate interventions with an international audience to support individual and group learning as well as build a development strategy to support business growth with people at its core.

Qualifications

I am qualified as an ILM Level 7 Executive Coach and Mentor, as well as completing the STAR Coach and Managers’ programme with Notion Coaching (Occupational Coaching practitioner) and subsequently the Accredited Internal Coach.

I am also a Licenced Practitioner for Insights Discovery, a personality and communications preference profiling tool.

I am an EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council) Accredited Coach at Senior Practitioner level and as such support and adhere to their code of ethics.
