Who is the ILM Level 7 for?
The programme is specifically designed for senior managers and HR/L&D professionals who want to develop their expertise and credibility in coaching, whilst learning how to utilise and establish coaching and/or mentoring at an organisational and strategic level.
This is also an appropriate qualification for individuals looking at a career in Executive Coaching.
There are no entry requirements or pre-requisites.
ILM Level 7 qualifications are equivalent to a Masters degree.

What do I need to do and how long does it take?
To gain the ILM Level 7 qualification, you will need to compile a portfolio of evidence throughout the programme, which consists of:
- Records of a minimum 30 hours workplace coaching or mentoring with senior level coachees
- 3 written assignments, focused around your understanding of coaching, application and review of your practice and the organisational development of your coaching strategy
- 3 book reviews of our recommended reads
- Evidence of your own learning and development, including tutorial notes, supervision notes and reflections
The journey from the start of the programme, through to completing the qualification, usually takes between 15-18 months.
