There are no entry requirements for this qualification per se, but this programme is specifically designed for senior managers and HR/L&D professionals who want to develop their expertise and credibility in coaching, whilst learning how to utilise and establish coaching and/or mentoring at an organisational and strategic level. This would also be an appropriate qualification for individuals looking to move into an Executive Coaching role in the future.
What do I need to do and how long does it take?
To gain the ILM Level 7 qualification, you will need to compile a portfolio of evidence throughout the programme, which consists of:
- Records of a minimum 30 hours workplace coaching or mentoring with senior level coachees
- 3 written assignments, focused around your understanding of coaching, application and review of your practice and the organisational development of your coaching strategy
- 3 book reviews of our recommended reads
- Evidence of your own learning and development, including tutorial notes, supervision notes and reflections
Throughout the workshops, you will have direct access to your tutor and our support team, along with three 1 to 1 calls with your tutor/s, at the pre, mid and post-programme stages. Each attendee also gets access to our library of online resources, which includes coaching videos, blogs, templates and self-assessments.
