Transition Coaching – Returning to a Post-Covid World Overview
Supporting people transition back to the workplace is on many employer’s minds right now and is the subject of much discussion and debate. As coaches, line managers and HR specialists we have been thinking about this for some time and the reality is now upon us.
Government advice to work from home wherever possible is expected to last until May or June 2021 (subject to the Roadmap) and offers two options:
- Supporting working from home until lockdown restrictions or social distancing is relaxed
- Facilitating a return to the workplace in line with COVID-secure workplace guidance when working from home is not possible.
The reality is people have discovered new ways of working and some will want to hold on to that. As with other changes in working lives each person will have their own unique response. This Masterclass explores supporting hybrid working as well as other life/work transitions such as returning to work after childbirth, after a period of ill-health, secondments, and, of course, furlough.

Session 2 - 18th August 2021 - 2pm to 4pm
Session 3 - 25th August 2021 - 10am to 12pm.

Module 2 Outline
Module Two looks at how to support the wellbeing of individuals through change. There will be practical takeaways on how to build resilience with a focus on self-care and personal growth. We will look at the role coaches, leaders and HR have in helping people adjust to new ways of working by building resilience.
Module 3 Outline
Module Three will complete the Masterclass by looking at the importance of fairness at work in response to new challenges and expectations. This module will specifically look at how to support working parents and some of the other transition’s individuals face in the workplace, through a Transitions Continuum.
