ILM Level 3 Award in Effective Coaching Outline

Approach for Covid

Because of the complications of Covid and the future uncertainty of how we will be able to deliver, we have booked a venue for face-to-face workshops, as well as a backup option if that is more appropriate closer to the time.

For both options, the dates of the workshops will remain the same, but a decision will be made on the most suitable format at least one month before the start of the first workshop.

Face-to-face

This will be delivered at Lift, in Islington from 9am – 5pm on each workshop day, with lunch included.

This will be in our tried and tested format of group learning, small breakouts for practice and a ‘community’ approach.

Virtual

If we do have to go virtual, each workshop day will be split into three 2-hour sessions, starting at 9am, 12pm and 3pm each day – with hour long breaks to refresh.

Our virtual style closely imitates our face-to-face, so we chalk and talk, don’t use PowerPoints and aim to make the sessions as inclusive an interactive as possible. We still breakout for practice in the meetings to allow you to apply the new tools and skills learned in a safe controlled environment.

Our preferred platform is Zoom.

Target Audience

Our ILM Level 3 Award in Effective Coaching qualification is aimed at team leaders and first-line managers who want to be able to adopt a coaching approach with their team and in their day-to-day role.

Our Approach

Our approach is highly experiential, engaging and focused on the practical – we use what works at work. Our intent is not only to deliver an outstanding ILM accredited programme but to ensure that the participants leave with the practical capability to coach at work and really make a positive impact on their own performance and that of their organisation.
