Style and Approach
Sheridan is a highly effective business performance coach, with 25 years’ experience of helping senior executives and their teams to improve their performance and to positively impact their personal and team results. He works with clients collaboratively and in an engaging, enjoyable and non-directive style to help them discover self-limiting beliefs and assumptions that prevent them performing to their best.
Sheridan then works with the client to create practical and effective ways of moving forward to achieve their specific business goals and deliver measurable results for the business.
Sheridan was Director of Publishing and on the senior management executive team of the Industrial Society in London in 1991 when he led a major transformation project for the organisation. After this, he trained as coach with the School of Coaching and joined the faculty of the School, one of the top coaching consultancies in Europe.
His work has taken him to the Netherlands, Turkey, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Unites Arab Emirates, South Africa, India, Mozambique, Poland, the Czech Republic and Australia.
Sheridan has written articles on coaching in journals including the Managing Best Practice Journal and the Journal of Change Management, and he has featured in a number of coaching training videos.
His book Core Coaching – Coaching for great performance at Work was published in the UK in 2009.

- Qualified coaching supervisor (CSTD)
- Member of the EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council)
- Member of the Association of Coaching Supervisors (AOCS)
- Founding member of the University of Hertfordshire’s Centre for Coaching
- Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management (FInstLM)
Sheridan has worked extensively across various sectors including banking and financial services, central and local government, police services, oil and power industries, the NHS and social care.
