Her experience in supporting business success through the introduction of coaching was profiled by the CIPD Coaching at Work publication. In this, Andrea aligned the introduction of coaching to the strategic goals of creating a performance culture.
Andrea is an experienced organisation effectiveness consultant and a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD which provides the theoretical and best practice knowledge of organisation design and development. She combines strategic thinking, clarity and pragmatism to ensure the successful delivery of people development approaches that work operationally.
Her corporate career spans 18 years in two international blue chip companies, British Airways and Thames Water. It encompasses experience in the frontline business, relationship marketing, outsourcing and people development to deliver business outcomes. As Head of Organisational Development she set up a new OD function from scratch and led a programme to develop management and leadership capability, underpinned by the introduction of a coaching culture.
Andrea combines a unique blend of deep business acumen and pragmatic solutions and brings a true understanding of the issues facing leaders today. She is comfortable operating at all managerial levels and works to support clients in developing robust strategies and achieveable implementation plans to bring real business results.
Her consulting style reflects her enthusiasm for enabling organisations to use development approaches such as coaching to the fullest benefit, both for individuals and for business performance. Andrea works naturally in partnership with key sponsors to create the best outcome for the organisation and aims to fully engage all stakeholders in the strategy development process by using a range of formal and informal consulting approaches to ensure rigour and clarity underpin recommendation and solution.
